Day 1: Gondar - Park Entrance - Sankaber Camp
Pick up in Gondar and drive to Simien National Park aasy acclimatization walk.
Overnight at Sankaber camping area
Day 2: Sankaber - Geech Camp
Trek through cliffs and valleys waterfalls and Gelada monkey herds .Arrive at Geech, wide open grasslands.
Overnight at Geech Camp
Day 3: Geech - Imet Gogo - Return to Geech
Day hike to Imet Gogo viewpoint one of the best landscapes in Ethiopia. Return to Geech for sunset.
Overnight at Geech Camp
Day 4: Geech - Chenek Camp
Long but beautiful trek to Chenek possible sightings of Walia Ibex. Evening rest with mountains all around.
Overnight at Chenek Camp
Day 5: Chenek - Bwahit Peak - Return
Hike to Bwahit Pass, one of the highest points. Stunning views, wildlife, and fresh air.
Return to Chenek for overnight.
Day 6: Chenek - Ambiko (Optional for Ras Dashen attempt)
Trek down the valley toward Ambiko small farms and local communities.
Overnight at Ambiko Camp
Day 7: Ambiko - Ras Dashen Summit - Return
Very early start Summit of Ras Dashen (4550m), the highest mountain in Ethiopia. Return to Ambiko, then drive back to Gondar / lodge / hotel.
